Job Description

The mission of United Allergy Services is to expand allergy care to improve lives in communities everywhere.  More than 50 million Americans suffer from allergies, making it the most prevalent chronic disease.  UAS brings relief to allergy sufferers by providing access to allergy testing and immunotherapy within the primary care clinics of our physician partners.  Our unique model delivers care that is convenient, safe, and highly efficacious.

 

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for increasing the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization by leading a team of Account Executives responsible for an annual quota. Reporting to the VP, Sales; the Regional Sales Director will also work closely with Finance, Marketing, Technology, and HR to ensure that corporate resources are effectively leveraged to achieve sales objectives.  The Regional Sales Director will also collaborate with their operational counterpart, the Regional Operations Director, to ensure successful clinic implementation, enhance clinic performance and profitability in the first year and establish and solidify strong working relationships for a successful ongoing partnership with physician partners.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for instilling company values: respect, integrity, safety, expertise, unity and positive energy to create a professional and productive workplace.
  • Lead a team of Account Executives responsible for presenting and selling UAS’s service offerings in a consultative manner to primary care physicians across a specified territory.
  • Drive accountability in ensuring annual quotas and assigned budgetary metrics are met by each team member.
  • Provide continuing education opportunities and coaching to team members with the end goal of developing sales professionals who confidently sell the UAS service line, versed in all contracts, with a full understanding of our clinical and financial offerings.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to Account Executive team by traveling with the sales team; observing sales encounters; studying sales dashboards; and conferring with leadership.
  • Partner with Technology department to optimize Salesforce as an enabling technology for enhancing sales capability. Monitor team members’ compliance with required standards for maintaining Salesforce data. Work cross functionally to improve the effectiveness of sales related technology investments. 
  • Provide reporting tracking and communication for specialized sales promotions and collaborates with corporate departments to increase profitability.
  • Assist in defining account targeting approach, implementing account scoring and managing sales territory design.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years outside business-to-business sales experience within the healthcare sector (preferably to Primary Care Physicians in Pharma, devices, or Physician services)
  • Minimum 2 years serving in a supervisory capacity leading a team in a healthcare sales environment. Candidates should have experience leading a team in educating and influencing physician customers while nurturing those relationships and identifying their needs and concerns to respond and act appropriately.
  • Proven track record of leading a high performing team.
  • Tech-savvy with the computer skills necessary to manage data, the sales funnel, create reports and presentations.
  • Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Highly motivated, creative, and decisive. Able to inspire high level performance in others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a credible presence.
  • Excellent analytical skills and results orientation. Ability to travel consistently throughout assigned territory. A driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work as a remote employee coordinating with other company departments to achieve sales goals (Finance, IT, Billing, Operations).
