Job Description

The Senior Clinical Allergy Specialist – Floater will contribute to a lab service organization by providing additional support in the field and by offering specialized allergy related diagnosis and management tools within our clinics in a regional capacity. The Sr.CAS - Floater will offer medications that are custom-designed antigen therapies that help people become desensitized to many of the pollens and molds that cause illness.

  • Responsible for implementing and meeting the strategic goals and objectives of the company pertaining to assigned clinic productivity and revenue.
  • Provide family centered patient care that is developmentally and age appropriate, compassionate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of the general characteristics and applications of all product categories. Understands and articulates the features and benefits, for all products offered to patients.
  • Responsible for the overall effectiveness of the immunotherapy processes to include the administration of quality allergy testing, and the formulation and preparation of the allergy medication.
  • Responsible for educating patients on administering injections with the medication.
  • Will ensure patients’ progress by monitoring following up with the patient and ensuring medication is picked up on a timely basis.
  • Will ensure that patients complete all appropriate paperwork and that insurance eligibility is verified for each patient prior to test and immunotherapy as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the handling and submission of all billing documentation to the appropriate office.
  • Maintains healthy professional relationships with co-workers and looks for ways to support other members of the team.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and security of inventory levels. Ensures that inventory is ordered and received as required by policy.

3. Tenure: 12 months+. The Senior CAS Floater role, as it is described in this section, provides the opportunity for a CAS, to take on a leadership position as the senior teammate in the field. Unlike the Team Lead role, this role is not managerial, and the CAS is still expected to perform tests, make medications, and perform other duties as described for the CAS role. The AS/AM may decide to align the lab differently along roles, however, should not give managerial duties to the Sr. CAS Floater. This role is not decided in a lab based solely on tenure, and performance should be taken into the primary consideration.


This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, plus 3 year experience in a health related environment or 3 year experience in customer service.

5. Prior supervisory/management experience preferred

7. Ability to commit to 100% regional or assigned territory travel



The states of New Jersey and Connecticut require a LPN certification.
